Occasional visits: People who come for a specific time, ranging from days to months.
Family visits: People close to a member of the community who stay at Casa adobe.
Guests invited for special situations: People in circumstances of vulnerability, either due to personal crises or due to major causes. (Refugees, single persons, homeless persons, or similar situations, etc.)
Description: People who offer support to one of the community-based service areas. Normally these tasks are channeled through the Asociación Casa Adobe (ACA).
Purpose: Contribute to one of the ACA objectives.
Description: People committed to community practices and disciplines of the Casa Adobe Community until God calls them elsewhere. (They can live inside or outside Casa Adobe.)
Purpose: To live fully in service to God, giving and receiving daily in the Casa Adobe community.
Volunteers Description: People who are discerning if God is calling them to belong fully to the Casa Adobe community.
Purpose: To try-out community life and its disciplines. To personally, and in community, discern your long-term membership in the Casa Adobe Community.
Term: 2 years, potentially renewable at mutual discretion, after a six-month community review. The inhabitant will live at least 1 year in Casa Adobe.
Description: People who are willing to join the community for a predetermined period.
Purpose: Participate in community life to “taste” and learn.
We conceive of ourselves as an integral ecclesial experiment. We share diverse community practices: from morning prayer at the table every evening, from work in the garden to recycling grey water, from Sunday reflections to music nights. We try not only to attend church but to live as such from Monday to Sunday.
